Hints and Tips

To help you in submitting your story, here are a few quick guidelines and points for you to keep in mind while writing your story.

1. Tell the story from your heart – not your head (unless your are submitting a Learning Difficulty Resource) . The best stories are always about how things affect us personally and emotionally.

2. Imagine you are telling the story to your best friend and you are sharing the highs and the lows of every twist and turn.

3. The best stories are emotional.  Remember to tell your story to make your readers laugh and cry.

How many words should my story be?

Ideally, your story should be no less than 200 words and no more than 1500.  It can be more or less, but please remember, more words do not necessarily make a better story.

Where will my Story be published

By submitting your story to LDStories.com you grant LDStories exclusive rights to the content.  Your story will not be sold or distributed to any third parties.  However LDStories.com will include references and extracts of the story on our Social Media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter.
